Receive and Believe was inspired and created for the Scripture passage of John 1:12-13
Some, however, did receive Him and believed in Him; so He gave them the right to become God's children. They did not become God's children by natural means, that is, by being born as the children of a human father; God Himself was their Father.
Background of the work and personal insights:
God rewards our obedience. I was feeling achy and had a case of the blahs. I didn't want to do anything except sit in my own personal misery. But then when I pondered the Bible Verse-of-the-Day on the subject of gratefulness that Father God really is my Father thru faith in Christ. This overpowered the misery and blues then turned my focus around from myself to the Lord - exactly where it should be! The phrase, "receive Him and believed in Him," stood out to me knowing that there is only one name by which we are saved - and that name is JESUS!
