Artist's Description
The love chapter of the Bible is 1 Corinthians 13 and such was the inspiration for this artwork. The creative process began with a photograph of phlox blooming in my front garden. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8,13 is written across the photograph: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Overlays and digital effects were added to create the finish artwork. On a personal note, I love how the phlox remind me of vintage lace.
