Description
As the artist, I am really drawn to this piece but I couldn't express the reasoning for it until a friend of mine gave a wonderful interpretation:
"I love the colors-green & purple are my favorite. This is my interpretation of it: everything coming out of the right corner makes me think of a Champagne bottle that was just opened & it's spraying out. So with that said, I feel this dark space in the lower right is the depths of a persons heart. The "spray" going out of the heart is utter joy & happiness. It reminds me of when I got to witness the birth of my nephew. My heart was bursting with joy & happiness at being able to witness the miracle of birth. It spread a warmth throughout my whole body & I was speechless. So I guess I don't have just one word or emotion. It's like an explosion of happiness from the depths of the heart."
Thank you, Penny!
Two Scriptures came to mind for this artwork:
As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Fathers commandments and abide in His love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full (complete). John 15:9-11
Psalm 95:1
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation!

You gave this abstract a voice, Penny. A joyful sound bursting forth! This piece is a favorite of mine, too.
