This Christian abstract painting was created shortly after my sister was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of breast cancer in 2010. Multiple layers of varying hues of paint were applied to a canvas board as I listened to Michael W. Smith's song, LET IT RAIN. (Open the floodgates of heaven, let it rain...) Layer after layer until the painting became muddy like in a rainstorm. Next water was showered over the painting (literally) and then scraped to reveal the true colors and healing beneath. It was an amazing time with the Holy Spirit!
The 2020 Edition of Healing has enhanced hues and saturation. A friend described the new edition as "peace raining down." I love that! I don't know about your device, but on my screen this wondrous artwork glows! I hope it is a blessing to you. - Steen
WHO AM I? I am a Christian artist from Minnesota. I have been happily married to a great guy named Tim for 40+ years who wholly supports my art.
