Holy Spirit II

Have you been in a place where your need for God was beyond words? That is the message of this painting - the Holy Spirit has you covered whether you can find the words to pray or not. God knows your heart. The original title for this painting was "Groans Too Deep For Words." The Scripture verse comes from Roman 8:26 "Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words."

For the website I thought it would be easier to gather the paintings associated with the movement of the Holy Spirit together, thus naming them Holy Spirit I, II, III, etc. This art can be hung in four different directions - whichever feels right to you, so I have signed the art digitally on each corner.

All my paintings begin with prayer. I ask for the Holy Spirit's guidance from beginning to end - from choosing the canvas and paint colors to the last brush stroke. I pray that the Lord's message would go forth through the art and that Father God would be glorified. I believe all prophetic art has a message, but what the Holy Spirit speaks to me about a specific piece of art, may be different than what the Spirit says to you. Seek Him for a personal interpretation.
